Character

If you ever want to know the character of a man look to what they do when they are out of place, in a distant land. Do they behave as they do where they are known or do they become someone different for no one knows them, no testimony needed for they are a stranger in a strange land? Do they view that as a chance to let their hair down and be what they couldn't be at home or do what they can't do where people know them?
When he goes on vacation does he carry his testimony?
Moses did. Moses cared for people, he had a big heart.
How do i know? I read the book.
Exo 2:16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
Exo 2:17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
Exo 2:18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
Exo 2:19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
Here we meet the true Moses. Not the murderer, not the spoiled pampered son of Pharaoh’s daughter.
The man who is concerned for his fellow man.
He was a protector of people. Here he sees an injustice as the shepherds chase off the daughters who had filled the troughs, Moses stood and ran the shepherds off, he was a protector, a man who did that which was right, his heart was in the right place even though he wasn’t always level headed.
Just as the midwives Moses took a stand, and he stood for what was right.
Even when no one knew him and he had nothing to gain or lose. Moses had a heart for God, and for people.
That is the character of the man.
