Gospel = Jesus

 In the King James Bible, Jesus in the Words written in Red, you know the ones He said, used the word Preach. 9 times it appears collectively in the 4 Gospels. Must be important for Him to use it so many times do you not think? 

Yet what follows that word Preach? Concerning Himself He says I must preach the kingdom at hand.

Luk 4:43  And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. 

To the Disciples though? Quite clearly a different message to preach.

Mar 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

What is Gospel, the Gospel? Jesus came, born of a virgin, died on a cross for the sin of the World, was buried and on the third day rose again, and even today sits at the right hand of the Father advocating for us.

The Gospel is the Good news of a Savior born.

That is what we are to preach. The Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. To every creature, we are to preach.

The lions in Daniel listened to Him, the fig tree listened to Him, the whale, the storms, the gourd all listened to Him. The Earth, all of Creation already knows Him, so what creatures need to know of this One named Jesus?

Humans are the only ones who deny, fight His existence, and let me tell you something we are the ones that need the Gospel more than any other thing on the face of this earth.

Too often we are teaching doctrine to the unsaved and they do not understand that for they are not saved and have not the Spirit. Too often we are preaching the mysteries rather than the simple, fantastic Gospel they need to hear.

Let me tell you about my Jesus.

That is what we need. Take the name of Jesus, The Son of God to a world crying out for a Savior, a friend, a companion. a shoulder to cry on. Jesus changed the world forever in 3 years, we can do the same thing if we but go in the Power of His name.

It is not me or you the Gospel is about, we are changed lives because of the Gospel.

It is Him and Him alone that the Gospel is about.

Jesus the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. That is Jesus.

Jesus the Sacrifice for man's sin and shame. That is Jesus.

Jesus the Son of God, the Resurrected Savior. That is Jesus.

Jesus the future Judge. That is Jesus.

They must hear of Him, we must tell them. Go and preach the Gospel.
