Whosoever

 Do you know the word whosoever is used in 163 verses in the Bible?

Do you further know that whosoever shows up 183 times in the Bible?

When God gives His Law and His Word He wants every one "whosoever" to read it and understand it and apply it to themselves. Whosoever is quite definitive, it literally means to whosoever reads this, it does apply to.

It shows up in the Old Testament 

Exo_31:15  Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Proverbs

Pro_20:1  Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

In the Four Gospels

Joh_3:15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Luk_12:8  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Mar_8:34  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mat_10:33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

This means what?

1. 0. Whosoever is defined as whoever. An example of whosoever used as a pronoun is in the sentence, "Whosoever wants to have dessert needs to finish dinner immediately," which means that anyone who wants dessert has to finish dinner immediately.

Whosoever means anyone and everyone.

God wrote the Bible to whosoever is reading it. He wrote the Bible for you, me and everyone.

He literally tells you in 163 verses that whosoever will, This means anyone at anytime.

The most important whosoever is the next one:

Rom_10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It does not say whosoever is:

Baptized, blessed, confessed up, in Bible college, fully repented, or a good person.

Nope.

Call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you WILL be saved. Saved from Hell, saved from the penalty of sin, saved from the eternal torment that sin brings.

Whosoever applies to the worst sinner ever in man's history as well as to the best person ever. Even the Pope, the Ayatollah, the Imam, Me can be saved if they call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whosoever means whoever is reading it. Who ever wants it, who ever simply asks for it.

Christ came and died for man that man might be saved through Him. Christ is God. God died for you.

God asks nothing, no requirement, no labor, no pre condition just you to acknowledge Him as God and He will save you.

No repentance is necessary, for if you are looking for Him then you already know you need Him. In the natural state you do not know the full depravity of man until you look at it in the light of a Pure and Holy God. God and His Spirit convict us of sin, otherwise we would never know what sin is. For sin is what God says it is, and you can not know God or His Word in the natural state.

Rom_5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Christ died for you when you were not even born, yet die for you He did. He came to pull men out of sin that we might know God and be His Sons as He originally intended,

Sometimes we get in our own way, we tell everyone to repent, to ask Christ into our heart etc.

Call on the name of the Lord and thou shalt be saved. That is it.

The dying thief on the cross shows us how easy it is

Luk 23:42  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 

Luk 23:43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
