Devils fear

 I had an interesting exchange the other day with a guy who claimed to be an atheist. You know the type, The how can you believe "insert any outrageous misunderstood Old Testament law", person.

They want to tell you how the Bible says you can not eat shellfish, but can not tell you a thing about Christ that is true because they do not know what it says, they do not want to know what it says they just want to keep on telling you how bad it is. They rail against God, and religion, they curse the heavens, belittle Christ and the Word of God. with no fear.

You know the very devils and demons know Christ and who He is and will not speak against Him yet these people rail against God and Jesus and Christians with no fear no desire to understand. Satan has decided that he can not do a full frontal assault so he has done an end around to attack the Word of God through half truths, misinterpretations, and willful ignorance in the people.

Jas_2:19  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

James saw the devils fear, heard them name Christ as God, and knew they feared God. They would not speak against Jesus.

Luk_4:41  And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

Act 19:15  And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 

Act 19:16  And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 

The very devil, demons and evil spirits know Christ, they know those that do the work of Christ.

yet just as in Acts 19 they also know imposters, posers and false prophets.

We in the "modern" world are too sophisticated to believe in the devil, and demon possessions, we are too erudite and polished to believe in hell.

Well, arent we going to be surprised the day of judgement whether that be the day we die or the great white throne judgment.

There is a hell, there are demons and devils, and they all believe in God, We would do well to believe as well.

There is One true God, and His Son Jesus, fear and tremble as the devils do for there will come a day when all will bow before Him.
