This same Jesus

 Act 1:11  Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

When you count the promises of the Bible do you consider this one?

When you praise God do you praise Him for this fact?

This same Jesus, now that is a statement. 2000 years later, this same Jesus is Lord.

This same Jesus that you saw going up will be coming back. No one else in history can legitimately make that claim.

This same Jesus that died to take away the sin of the world will come back, and receive you unto Himself. This same Jesus.

That my friends is comfort, that is security. That this same Jesus will be the same.

No one else can make that claim, not buddha, not Mohammad, not Joseph Smith no not anyone else can make that statement and carry the full force of believability. Why? Because our Jesus is God and He defeated death and the grave. He died that we might live, and He is going to come back Himself and collect us to make sure He carries out that promise.

He has not entrusted those responsibilities to anyone else, no sir, He Himself will be coming back for us!

This same Jesus. That thought, if it doesnt't make you praise, rejoice, and holler, nothing will for this same Jesus will come again.

This is why at every loud noise, while we are waiting for the trump to sound, your eyes should shoot to the sky, this is why you should listen for the shout of the archangel. For this same Jesus will come back in the blink of an eye and get His children.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 

1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This same Jesus, not a hireling, not an angel, not Peter, not Paul, not a pope, not Spurgeon, or Elisha  not anyone but Jesus will be coming back for us, and He will be the same as when He left this earth.

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. 

Folks I don't know how else to say it, but this same Jesus will be coming for us.

For that reason alone you should praise Him. The author and finisher of our faith, The Creator, The God of the Universe, is coming for us, to take us to be with Him.

Are you prepared for Him? Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of life? Is your name in His Book? Have you called on the name of Jesus that you too can have life everlasting in the presence of the God who so loved the World?

If you have not placed your faith in Him, today is the day for we do not know when He is coming back, but we do know He is coming back, this same Jesus, for He has said so in His Word. If He has said so, so must He do.
