God can keep you, but will He?

I keep seeing where a lot of people are saying that God can keep you as He did Daniel.

Yes He can.
That does not mean that is His plan for you,
That does not mean you won't get sick, you won't suffer trials, you won't face death.
Daniel didn't stroll into the lions den and make God keep him safe. Daniel was thrown, Not his choice.

Php 2:25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
Php 2:26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
Php 2:27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

This man ,Epaphroditus, was sick nigh unto death. He served with Paul and Paul could not heal him, God had mercy and saw him through.

God translated no one but Enoch, God took only Elijah by fiery chariot, God protected only Daniel from the lions, God spared the 3 from the fiery furnace.

God also allowed Peter to be crucified upside down, James was beheaded, John was boiled in oil, Stephen was stoned, Paul was beheaded.
Please do not take the fact that He can and interpret it as fact that He will.

God is a loving God, Just and Merciful.
He knows what will befall us, He knows what will happen to us, He knows the day of our death.
Today may be the day, this sickness may be the way.
It may not be.

Tempt not the Lord thy God.
Don't put yourself in a situation trying to force Him to protect you.

Deu 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
Deu 6:17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.

There is a plan for your life, Let Him guide you, let Him lead you. If you stand for Him He shall direct your path.
