It's that time of year again. You walk out see the green grass, prepare the mower, watch the trees bloom, and know Spring is in the air.
The earth is renewed from it's winter slumber new life has sprung forth.
The quiet of winter, the gloom of the sky, the cold and the brown is now going away.
The Glory of Creation comes forth and we see the full beauty of Creation spring forth. The cherry blossoms and the dog woods are in bloom.
The full spectacle of the Glory of God or as best as we will ever see it on this earth is evident.
I love this time of year, the smell of the grass and the crispness in the air.
For thousands of year the earth has done this, for thousands of years it has bloomed matured, then slept through the winter. For thousands of years it has turned on it's axis, the sun has shone, the moon has hung in place, the perfection of Creation has been evident.
For thousands of years the Earth has stood as the surest testimony of a Creator. Of an Almighty God who put it here with a plan and a purpose.
Now there are those who say pure chance created this whole system, pure chance that made man, pure chance that everything has a schedule, a purpose, a reason for being here.
Yet the trees bloom, the animals and the eco-system all fulfill their purpose day in and day out.
The only sentient being on the face of this earth is man. The only thing that works against it's instincts is man. The only thing in the whole blessed scheme that does that which is harmful to itself is man.
Dogs do what they were made to do, cats, ants, roaches termites, elephants, buffalo and whales do what is ingrained in them to do.
Only man goes against that which is instinctive and follows a path of self-destruction.
Only man can take herbs and make medicine or drugs.
Only man can build cities yet have anarchy, a pack of wolves follows the rule of their law better than man.
Only man can be so depraved that they kill wantonly, that they fight over nonsense. Only man can be so evil that we kill, torture other men for nothing other than our own pleasure, our own power, our chance for more money.
In Creation the animals do what they are programmed to do, man does as he pleases.
In Creation the plants do as they are told, man does what ever his heart tells him to.
If chance can take a human and make them so completely different than the rest of nature, then chance can revert them to nature.
Yet in all recorded History man is the same. The same drive, the same desires, the same sins, the same need to look beyond themselves for a higher authority. For man can not be the pinnacle of the universe for we are created not the Creator.
We can not be the destroyers of the earth for we have not created it.
We can not be the ultimate authority for we must have someone to rule over us. The rule of law alone tells us we are unable to survive under our own authority. If it were easy to live on our own authority and all men would abide by an innate sense of good then there would be no laws, no judges, no prisons.
All men have a different code, a different way of life, a difference in understanding what should be, what is right and what is wrong.
All men were created equal in their sins, all men were formed and designed by an Almighty God.
Yet all men are not the same. All the wolves behave the same way, all the zebras follow the same way of life, we can study the animals and we know what they will do because they all do the same thing!
We know which flowers bloom and when based on a schedule because they follow that schedule every year!
Yet man does not follow a schedule. Man lives by man's own decisions. Each man does that which is right in his eyes, within the construct of the law.
Why? Why is man different?
Because man was made in the image of God and given dominion over the earth. Man was put here to enjoy the bounty of the earth, to commune with God, to Worship Him.
Every spring makes that self-evident. every year Spring brings new life, new hope to the world. Spring brings a new testimonial to the Creator.
God Almighty who created us and has made us in His Image.
God has given us so many witnesses to Him and His Glory, His justice, His pureness, His power.
Yet we fail to see. Man wants to explain away a God or creator because that would mean we are less than what we should be and we can not have that.
We must believe that what we do is right, we must justify our actions to assuage our guilt our conscience, we must lower the standard.
For if there is a God then we are woefully inadequate.
Man can not accept in his pride that there is someone he must answer to.
Can not accept that he is not the ultimate authority.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
