I have heard it said and have even said it myself " if God doesn't judge us He owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology".
I must admit we are a wicked nation, perversions are rampant, idleness is turning everyone to new ways to meet the desires of their eyes.
Yet God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah until after Abraham tried to intervene. If 10 righteous men had been found they would have been spared. God only found one. Lot.
Nineveh was to be destroyed until Jonah was sent and preached and they repented.
Noah preached for 120 yrs while building the ark to give men a chance to repent.
Here in America I see the wickedness, the sheer conceit of man as we remove God so we can further justify what we do. How we have made our pleasure-seeking our god.
Yet I also see that we have more than 10 righteous men. We have many who serve and are grieved by what is going on.
Some are truly calling for judgement on this nation, but there are those who are weeping and crying for repentance. There are those who see what is happening and instead of judging are trying to make people aware of God and His love ,and of His Judgement to come.
2 Chronicles 7:14 does not say rant and rave against the sins of the nation. It does't say judge those who sin. It doesn't say turn inward so you don't see what's going on. It says:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

God does not call upon the lost and unsaved, He calls upon His children to repent and turn, pray and humble themselves before Him.
There is naught we can do.
But there is plenty He can do.
We can turn this nation around!
Not by screaming and hollering. Not by harassing and judging. Not by easy feel good God wants you rich nonsense. Not by holier than thou attitudes. Not by turning a blind eye.
We must turn to God! Through prayer, repentance, humbling ourselves to an Almighty God who can do anything.
We, the men and women of God, can turn things around by getting ourselves right with Him.
Right with Him in attitude, mindset, service, and His Will.
Right with Him in His view of this world and this nation, Right with Him in His view of our homes and our families.
It starts with us.
We can save this nation when we get out of the way and allow Him to work. When we allow Him to shine through us.
America has become wicked, perverted, and corrupt.
God can still work a mighty work.
God can still return us to Him.
If the christians stop their sinning, stop condoning sin, and get right with God. Pray. Seek His face.
If we get right with God, God can make it right.
10 righteous men? We have many more than that.
He can turn it around if we get right with Him.
