We who are in Christ have it all- What do they have?

This morning has been bad for me. It was: knees hurting so bad I could barely walk, eyes seem clouded, finances not good, book not selling, dead end job blah blah blah...

So in the middle of this pity party, feeling like I am being crushed by the weight I had a thought. 

A moment of clarity - how do those who have no hope, no saviour like Christ cope?

At least I can cry out to God, lean on Him.

How do people in the lost world do it? To what do they cling? To what thread or rope do they hang onto when it is all unravelling?

Now I know that substance abuse is high but in their moments of clarity what do they hang onto? To what end do they strive?

What is their end game? How do they get up and go on everyday when it's all we can do sometimes and we have God beside us?

Now I will admit that I do fight depression, stress, pain, and aging alot, I am not the man I used to be physically, but I have God in my corner. I have a hope for tomorrow. I have an advocate, who fights with me/for me.

1 John 4:4KJV

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Now I have answers to all the problems listed at the beginning of this post knees hurt because joints do that as you age, eyes dim as you get older and mine were never good, the book was never intended to be a best seller just a conversation starter, depression is from the mind and satan and his minions attack through the mind to stop you.

Who answers the questions of the lost folks? Whom do they turn to? Where do they turn to? I can flat guarantee you that their "gods" are not answering them.

Our God does and will.

1 John 4:13-15KJV

13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 

Now while we have the blessed hope of His appearing, while we have the Comforter, while we have the Holy Scriptures - what do they have?

We are the victors, we are the Sons of God - What do they have?

We have a church of like minded believers, to help us recharge and reaffirm - what do they have?

We have the peace that passes all understanding - what do they have?

What do they have?
