We have been chosen

John 15:16KJV

 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you

We were chosen by God. He knew long before we were what road, what path we would take. He knew who we would be, that we would chose Him. That we, even with the stumbles and falls we take, that we would serve, He knew what would happen.

God chose us, God ordained us to be His Children. All We had to do was/is step up and accept this.

In an earlier post I put forth the concept of choice-that is at the base of everything.

God knew what, who we were long bfore we were. He also knew if we would serve Him or go astray.

Yet He still loves us and calls us all to repentance.

All men are welcome, but only those who choose are called the sons of God.

John 3:16-17KJV

16 ¶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 

Its a simple thing yet needs reiteration from time to time. 

God chose us!

God loved us first!

If that in and of itself doesn't excite you, doesn't touch your heart, then you need to re-examine yourself. 

God the creator of all died for His creation.

God took on your flesh and bones, took on your temptations, your hurts, your problems. He set the example for us.

He died a brutal death, He conquered sin, death, and the grave for us.

He did all this and all you have to do is choose.
