Perceptions misdirected

What do you do when you lead by example, do the right thing, persevere in the way of the right and no one follows?
What do you do when you are completely alone in your thinking and in your goals? Or at least feel that way?

That last question is probably the core of the issue.
We as humans tend to build things in our minds as to how things should be for us, how our lives and relationships should go. We have preconceived notions that all will fall in line with our thinking, the direction we feel we should go in, the purpose and reasonings we have thought out so carefully.
Yet we often fail to remember that other people may very well have the same thinking process and they are pursuing their course while we are pursuing ours.

Yes you may very well be right, your way may be best but what good does it do to be right if there is no peace or commonality of purpose?

Psalms 118:5-9KJV
5I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. 6The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? 7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. 8It isbetter to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. 9It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

No matter what we think or feel or plan, always remember our steps are ordered by the Lord and His way, His plan is so much better if we can just hang in there and wait on Him.
No matter what we think, feel, or judge best for us we must remember that there is a way that is best, the way God planned it.

We have to realize that we are not alone, that there are many views and viewpoints, but we can achieve nothing alone!
We need God to direct and we need to let Him guide, we need us to stop living in our own minds and realize that we are but a cog in this machine.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in people, God has our back. We must rely on Him.
He put us where we are for a reason, many times it may not even be for our own good, we may be there for the other person's/people's good. However, it is not up to us to determine the purpose or reason.
It is up to us to continue doing the right thing, humbly, grateful to our God to be able to be a part of His plan. We are where we are, because God wants us there. Look to the hills for that is where our help comes from. Our help comes from the Lord.
It is imperative that no matter what, we keep our trust in the Lord, that we keep seeking Him and striving for His Glory.
No matter how things go, for us or against us on this earth, honor God and He will honor you.

Proverbs 3:7-10KJV
7¶Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
