Satan - out and about on earth

1 Peter 5:8 KJV

 8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 

When we think or talk of satan we always think of him as being in hell for his home office, Yet that is not the case. Satan walks about the earth, he walks in heaven. Hell was created for the devil and his angels eventually - but not yet.

Matthew 25:41 KJV

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 

Hell was created for the devil and his angels, that is their eventual and final destination.

Revelation 20:10 KJV

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Until then they (satan and his minions) are loose and running round wreaking havoc, subverting God and tempting man to his ruin.

Please note "tempting" man, not causing man to sin. No one can make you sin but you. No one can take the credit/blame from you. 
Satan can tempt, satan can place it in front of you but the act, the sin is yours - own it.

Do not be deceived, satan is the real problem in this world. It is his. God controls all, nothing happens without his approval yet satan is the ruler of the earth at the moment.

Satan is a creature of beauty. He was created therefore he is finite, he is the ultimate bad guy. He still to this day is trying to overthrow God and to subvert or stop God's people. 

Satan is a roaring lion, he is making loud noises and putting things in your way but that's all he can do.

He is not all knowing, all powerful. He is NOT God or even god like. He can not be everywhere all the time. So everything we blame in him may just be human nature coming to the forefront.

Satan is the enemy, make no mistake. He is loud and he is on the earth walking and looking. He is a strong adversary that even today he will not be beaten. His end is not for some time yet, until then he is in our backyard.

Don't let him win, don't let him subvert or distract you. 

He will do what he can to beat you down, he might even make you successful and comfortable if that is what it says takes to stop you. He will do whatever he can to ruin you and your testimony, your drive to work for God.

Be on guard, don't be fooled. He is real.

He is not a metaphor, he is not a jester. 

He is THE adversary.
