The Shed Blood of Christ

I was praying this morning and feeling completely unworthy of coming before the Throne of grace. Of course I am in and of my ownself unworthy.

However, as a born again, washed in the blood christian I am not standing on my merits but on the sacrifice of Christ. When God sees me He looks at me through the prism of the blood, And sees a righteous being. It is through the imputed righteousness of Christ that we can boldly stand before the Throne of Grace. Not through ought that we have done but through the blood!

When you are feeling unworthy when satan or yourself brings up doubts just remember you are joint- heirs with Christ. You are a child of the King! Not through yourself but by being born into the family of God you can stand on His name and in His strength.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
