God is great and He is faithful to do all that He has promised to do.
It is up to us to "ask" for those promises. God is our Father, He wants the best for us. God is our Father, He wants us to come to Him and ask. He wants to know that this is what we want, that we are truly asking, steadfast in purpose for this request whatever it may be.
So many times we have not because we ask not. We have not because we are asking for the wrong reason.
Oh if only our prayers were as intense as our pleadings with our spouse or our children when there is something we need from them.
James has said in his book these very things.
We must ask rightly, judiciously and in the Spirit and Will of God.
Revival, spiritual awakening, will not happen in this world until God's people get serious.
When we get our hearts and mind in line with His Will. When we ask in a true honest non-self way.
