Faithful Witness
These are the words we can use to describe the Apostle Paul throughout his ministry. Even in prison he was faithful and true. Even after being beaten, and chained. Paul didn't run, He faced his troubles secure in his Faith.
Acts 16:20-32KJV
20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

The Apostle Paul didn't blame God even though he was on Gods business.
He didn't cry, or hang his head. He did not blame his parents, society, or his up bringing. He used the prison as a personal ministry opportunity. He praised God for the chance to witness, for the persecution, he knew all things are done for His good to those who are called according to HIS purpose. He knew he was doing the right thing, and he kept his testimony intact. Paul sang, Paul witnessed, Paul used the circumstances to further his relationship with God. He didn't push Him away, question or doubt. He just did what he was supposed to do knowing the Lord was His shepherd.
Are we like Paul? Do we let God work even in our failures, our trials? Or are we quick to blame and cry?
Do we stand tall knowing God is working in our life or do we look to the heavens and question God despite all the good in our life?
We have never faced persecution in this nation like Paul did. We have had names called, maybe a door slammed in our face but for the most part no physical violence against our persons for being a christian.
Can we stand tall and say we have been the witness we should be? Can we sing praises when we have trials? We need to be strong and firm in our faith despite what may come.
We have dark days coming here in America, persecution is coming.
Stand tall in your faith. Stand tall in your trials, stand tall in your convictions.
Stand tall in the name of the King whose Family we belong too. We are A Son of the King, not a servant. Bear His name proudly. Do not let Him be ashamed. Do nothing to cast shame on His Name.
