Season the earth

Why is it that we have no alternatives to the world when it comes to entertainment? What little we do have suffers from low budgets and lower production values.

Why is that? Is it the whole come out from among them and be ye separate argument? A little leaven spoileth the whole loaf argument?

Yes yahoo and msn and aol have home pages that give the news with a liberal slant, they get articles that point in their train of thought. Yet not one single christian outlet contends with them. Why????

There is fox news, and a few other outlets but they are wholly committees to one thing: news.

Where are the homepages where i can get news, sports, and good biblical content? Women's articles,sermons, Sunday school lessons etc??

Why cant a christian homepage contend with these media giants? Why cant good wholesome biblical founded Content be used in the same manner? I don't care for the celeb news, the lgbtq agenda, award shows or horoscope. So why does the church (as a generality not a specific) not meet this need? 

Why does the church not feed the soul on the Internet? A place to get away from the content that will lead to trouble?

Probably because there is no money in it.

I am not saying that in a rancorous way because it does take money to run a website. Servers, news feeds, people to monitor the content etc. 

However this points me to a greater need. The church has pulled out of the world. We offer no alternative on a regular basis. 

We want to offer services and get the people to the church, yet we do not go out to them for the most part. We have isolated ourselves. We have gotten to the point that we go to church,invite people to church but then what? What's after that?

What are we doing as a whole to reach them? Sending devotions? Or pamphlets? 

I say we need to give them a place to go that is part of their day, part of their routine.  We Need something that they will use, reference daily as a part of their daily struggle in this world. Something to combat the influence and liberal slant of the media.

We are the salt of the earth. We need to season this media driven society.
