The absence of light is dark

I was outside last night it was utterly black. In an area I know,I walk everyday but in the dark dark night I didn't know it. I was just outside the front door sitting in the cool air. It was so dark I couldn't see my hand, again this is an area I could tell you in the daylight every nook and cranny. Then a thought hit me that the dark that blackest of night was a symbol of sin. On impulse I lit a light a small light and all of a sudden I could see again. The darkness wasn't anything to worry about when that little flicker of light showed all I knew but couldn't see. The light was Christ amidst the sin He made it all clear and easy to navigate.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

One very dark night you should do what I did and see the correlation, it takes on a whole REAL meaning. Christ is the light of the world. He can defeat sin, depression, loneliness, drugs, alcohol, sexual deviation, theft and all our ills if we will but let Him strike the match and be our light.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christ is to be our light and we are to be the light for others leading the way out of the darkness to the light of the world.

John 3:19KJV
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Men in their natural human sin state shall shun the Light and prefer the dark. Like the roaches when a light comes on they scurry so does a sinful man when light is cast on their deeds. We the true followers of Christ the believers must lead by word, by deed, and with joy. We must show the peace that passeth all understanding. The inner confidence that He is in control. That is our light our faith in Our risen Savior the Lord Jesus Christ and that He can illuminate their way as He does ours. If we walk grumpy confused and concerned all the time then why would they need to follow us? They have that already.

We are to be an ensample a shining example and a role model for the Christ who loved us, Died for us, Rose for us and now sits at the right hand of the Father and pleads for us.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Fellowship one with another and with Our Christ. We must stay in the light. The darkness is merely the absence of Light. Light is so overpowering to the dark. It cannot exist where light is. The sin state can not exist where Christ is. Sin can and will happen but THE Light will lead us out of the dark if we call on him and confess our sin and He will show us the way out.

Folks it is time for us the Christ followers to be an example of the full life in Christ. To take back our lives from sin and lead the way to Christ for all those lost and dying people that are going to Hell.

On Judgment day they shall answer for rejecting Christ, We shall give answer for not telling them showing them the way.
