The Father Seeketh Such

 Joh 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 

Joh 3:7  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 

We are born physically, into the sin world, with a nature that understands the sin better than the things of God. Jesus says after the first birth physical, we must be born again of the Spirit. Why? God is Spirit and for us to be able to fellowship with Him we must be born again Spiritually.

Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Have you ever noticed this part right here in the Book of John? The woman at the well encounter?

The hour is come that the Father is seeking such to Worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Salvation is of the Jews, the very Jew that stood in front of her is the Salvation she seeks, the One the Father sent to search for those who might worship in Spirit and in truth.

It is absolutely amazing to me, all the things Jesus did, all the things He said to give us hope. The Father seeks for those who will worship in Spirit and in truth.

I keep saying (and will continue to do so) that God has done it all for us, He has paid a terrible price for us and still, STILL He seeks us. Even after all the betrayals and rejections He still seeks after us to Worship in Spirit and in truth.
He is a good God and He comes to you, calls to you. He doesn't ask for a pilgrimage, a journey of self discovery, a sacrifice or some nonsense. No He did all that for you, so that all you have to do is call on Him.
The God who did it all, He is looking for you, calling for you to worship in Spirit and in truth.
