I have been reading the "sermon" Paul preached before Agrippa in the Acts. You know what I find perhaps the most intriguing part? Paul, the world's greatest Missionary, a fantastically educated man, who had a meeting with Jesus on the road, cast out demons, and healed the sick, when Paul stood before the kings his very sermon was his Testimony.
He spoke of what he knew, first hand, tried and true.
Acts 26 is the full wording Paul used before Agrippa, and Paul gives every aspect of his testimony from chief persecuter to chief Proclaimer of the Godpel.
The Lady at the well went into town and spoke of what had just happened to her.
Experiential.
Peter, after the lame man was healed, preached and his message? Jesus, What Peter knew. Experiential.
Too often we complicate things, overthink things, make them harder than they are. Yet if we just talk of Jesus and what He has done for you and me, that will be enough.
If you get tongue tied trying to think of the words then ask the Spirit to help you and speak of your own experience. For of your own experience, you are the foremost expert, they can not argue of your experience.
There is One who came and died for the whosoever, Thats what people need to hear, and if you know Him tell them of the One who changed your life.
No one can speak better of your experience than you, plus it makes it personable and relatable tpo those that are hearing.
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Peter spoke of what he knew. Jesus.
