Dan 4:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
Dan 4:2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
Dan 4:3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
Did you know that the king that had an image built for all to bow down to, finally recognized God as the God? That the most powerful man of his day, the greatest king to that point, was converted to God.
Nebuchadnezzar was a changed man by the end of his time on earth. It took a mighty work of God to make it happen but happen it did. He wrote Daniel 4 and in it Nebuchadnezzar tells us of his conversion experience. Not a quick changeover, it took years.
Nebuchadnezzar has a dream and Daniel interprets that dream yet the last thing Daniel says to him is:
Dan 4:27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar to get his heart right, humble himself, and recognize that God is the one who allowed him this life.
The mightiest ruler, the president, the king, the queen, all rule at God's pleasure and His Will.
In Psalms it says
Pro_3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
God is the Creator of all, He is in Control of all. Nebuchadnezzar walked through his palace and said look at what I have done. He didn't do it, God did.
God makes that clear to him in the next few verses.
Nebuchadnezzar saw miracles, saw faithfulness in God's men, and then he saw the hand of God Himself. There is a truth there that is eternal.
Men of power, recognize God,
Men of authority, bend the knee to God and recognize Him.
Men, Fathers, Leaders, return to God before it is too late.
Lead righteously, Lead true and fair.
To God be the Glory great things He has done.
