Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The spirit helpeth our infirmities. He knows what to pray for, for us, even when we have no idea what to pray for.
We have the Holy Spirit praying for us, The Lord Jesus interceding for us. How blessed are we among men?
All things work together for good, to them that love God.
To them who are the called according to His Purpose.
All things work together for good, notice it doesn't say my good or your good. It says for good, for those that love God.
What is good? Who's good?
Luk_18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
God is good, just, pure, and Holy.
Christ was sinless man, perfect God and yet He tells us Good is only the Father in heaven. He did not claim to be good, even though He was perfect.
So all things work together for good, work together for God and His purpose, His Will.
all things work together for good for those that love God.
what do you do when you love someone?
You talk to them, you do things to make them happy. You live for them, you strive to be the person they need you to be, want you to be.
God says if you love Him, all things are working together for good.
Does this mean I will be happy? Wealthy? Healthy? and never have a bad day in my life because God said all things work together for good?
No, Good is His Will, His Way. It means that if you love God and are called according to His purpose, then all things will work out for His Glory, His honor. Not yours.

In the 1950's Jim Elliott was a missionary to Ecuador, he led an excursion to Ecuador to attempt to evangelize. All the men in his group were killed by the very people he tried to reach, yet his wife returned a few years after that and they saw a revival happen. This man gave his life for God and it worked for good, God's good.

These men did not live healthy, wealthy, happy lives. These men did not have all work together for their good. It all worked together for God's Good. The furtherance of His Will and His Word.
These men suffered and died for the God they loved and it has affected us to this very day.
God does not promise us anything here on this earth, He promises us a home on heaven, and freedom from the penalty of sin that we deserve.
All that we do in His name is not for us, our good, our glory but for His.
Everyday everything we do should be done for the furtherance of His Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ.
If you are having a wonderful life, free of persecution, free of trial, then you need to examine your life to make sure you are in His Will, that you are working for Him and not for yourself
.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
If the world loves you, then there is a problem. For what hath the darkness to do with the light?
If there is no persecution of the church, then the church has not done it's job.
