Eze 22:29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
Eze 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Eze 22:31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

A man to stand in the gap. to put a hedge around the people to save them from the wrath of God,
Yet none were found.
Man was found wanting, inadequate.
Psa_94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Exo_8:20 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Psa_35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Who can stand in the face of God's wrath? Who can stand against the wiles of the devil? Who can stand in the gap?
Who WILL stand in the gap? Will any stand for their God or their people?
God has called His elect to service. Will they stand?
I don't mean just in the pulpit. I don't mean just at church.
In the streets, at work, at the restaurant, at the gas station, at the ball game, at school.
Will any stand?
Moses stood up for God in the enemy's area. He didn't wait for it to come to him, he went to the people he was to stand up to.
Moses, following God's direction, stood before the most powerful man in the most powerful nation at that time and spoke the truth of God.
Who will stand?
Not a flashy showman, not a pretender, not a a man of words alone.
A man (or men) of action.
A man (or men) standing on the truth of God, unmovable, unshakable, unwavering?
Who will rise up and say 'I will stand in the gap?'
Who will not pass the buck, who will not say " it's the pastors job, or the tv evangelist or the missionary or the teacher it is MY job"?
Who will trust this responsibility to no one else?
Who will stand for the sake of the Truth of the Word of God alone?
Not money,
Not fame.
Not reputation.
But for the Gospel and the Gospel alone?
The truth of Christ and the salvation of their brother, sister, father or mother.
Who will stand and say right is right, wrong is wrong.
Not as society does today, blurring the lines of perversions to make it normal.
Not as man moves the lines of good and evil to justify their own actions, to ease their conscience.
As Isaiah says " Here am I Lord, send me".
Who will stand? Who will rise?
It doesn't take a national stage, it takes a fundamental faith in God and the backbone to stand.
It takes prayer, fasting, study and a firm belief that God is overall and He will judge one day.
It takes a fear of God and a fear of leaving some to the wrath to come.
It takes an urgency of fear to move so none will perish.
Who will say I will stand in the gap.
Who will stand as a hedge around the people?
Who will stand up?
We can only stand with the power of God lifting us, who is willing to do what it takes to stand?
Who will sacrifice themselves on the cross of Christ to Stand?
Sacrifice for their fellow man?
