I don't know if you saw this but in the last week search engines such as google have logged the highest ever number of searches for World War 3.
Of course in the state of the world and the fearful people and some of the unhinged leaders it's no wonder.
We have Syria gassing it's own people, N Korea trying to talk tough. Russia being led by a strong man who has been unchecked for years, Iran being the same old Iran, and America once again having a strong good leader in the Oval Office.
This being Easter it's important to understand the significance of the Perspective of the Christian.
We serve a Risen Savior.
World War 3? Doesn't matter in the scope of eternity. I know whom I serve and no matter what happens He is God.
Famine, disease, pestilence, economic collapse, societal breakdowns, terrorists, None of this matter. God is in control and He has the world in the palm of His hand.

Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
What do we need to fear? Nothing.
Our time on this earth is preordained. We are here until God tells us we are needed at home.
Our main concern here is furthering God's message to man. Christ died for us, for you. Salvation is free, His yoke is light. There is no other way to heaven except through Christ Jesus.
I heard a man once tell a story of how he got over his fear of flying when he realized, If God was not done with him then he was going to be fine no matter what.
It is the same thought in every other circumstance of life. We will be fine no matter what happens as long as God wants us here. If God is done with us on this earth then whatever happens we will be with Him shortly.
It's a win - win.
Of course this is a complete exercise in faith. Wholly trusting in Him is essential to the carefree life that a christian needs. He is in control of All. We can not add 1 inch to our height, 1 yr to our life. We can not do a thing outside of Him.
We trust Him with our soul and eternal destination, why do we need to micro manage other areas?
(Php 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Trust. Perspective. Prayer.
God wants us to not worry, to trust in Him, talk to Him.
Carry your daily cares, concerns to the Throne. Praise, prayer, Study. These are the things that will allow you to get out of the rut and to lay it all at the feet of our God.
He wants you to tell Him of the minutiae, the daily insignificant things that no one wants to hear. He wants you to talk to Him about everything. Nothing is too small or too Big.
Once you get on the same page with Him you are then seeing things through His perspective.
Seeing things His way, Through His eyes you will no longer carry the burdens of this earth as heavy. You will learn to lay it at His feet and walk away without picking that burden right back up. He is more than capable of carrying you and all your burdens and never even noticing the extra weight.
World War 3? of no concern.
Nuclear war? God is in control.
He has the whole world in His Hands. What safer place is there?
