Driving in to work I saw clouds. There was a bank splayed out like the hand of God. I told Him I am ready, bring the rapture lets go home. Let's get out of this world now.
Then I realized who else have I spoke to so they can be ready? Who would be left behind because I didn't make sure they were ready.
Who would suffer the tribulation because of me? My lack of speaking? Or my actions that refused to tell of Christ because I was too carnal? Who would I leave to go through Hell on earth?
We know that satan is the prince of this world. He is a defeated foe yet we allow him to win the battle due to our inaction, Our silence or indifference.
Any of which is bad in and of itself. We have all three working today in this world. We serve God Jehovah who has won the war, He is just playing out the clock.
Yet we sit on our hands in America and do nothing to further His Word, His Will, His agenda. We are in our own little insulated world and we fail to see the outside. We don't go to the areas we do not know. We do not get out of our comfort zones we expect them to come to us through ads, radio, tv, internet.
Yet they won't because they don't come to our circles either. What makes us think that if we don't get out of our areas they will leave theirs? We have some flawed thinking there.
Do you know what we are leaving them behind to by not speaking? Do you realize what they are in store for?
Starvation, fear, paranoia, death to millions at a time, subjected to an inhuman authority who cares not a whit for them. disease, famines, floods, earthquakes, pestilence, turning on each other - mother daughter, father son.
These "left behind" may be the one in your house, in your bed. they may be your daughter, your son, your father, your mother, brother, sister, husband, wife or girlfriend. The very ones you proclaim to love and protect you may be damning to an eternity of torture and pain.
Imagine all the evil in the world now, any touch from God, any influence of God gone.
Think of the evil that would run rampant without God's intervention. Without what little influence the church has left.
A totally amoral world would be left. Who are you leaving to allow them to go through this? to have to face this alone?
Here is a partial listing of one of the facets of the tribulation people "left behind" will face.
Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
Rev 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
It says men will pray for death and not find it. How horrible that must be that people are actively seeking death to get away from the pain and torment.
I am going to ask again, Who are you leaving behind to face this? Who will go through this without you because you or I failed to tell them of Jesus and His atoning work on the cross?
Who do you know that you want to go through this?
You don't have to do a thing if you have no desire to save those you love.
However, what kind of men are we that we allow our own convenience to interfere with their future? That we allow our own comforts to condemn them to go through this?
We can not convert any, but we can tell them and allow the Spirit to convict.
Either through our actions and words, or lack thereof, will our hearts desire be made known.
You are not just leaving them behind, you are condemning them.
