Speak Wisdom

Psalm 37:30-32KJV

30The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

We are truly aware of this in today's world. The righteous speak of right and wrong, yet they are talked down for speaking truth. Don't speak truth for you will offend someone.
We have to adhere to the law of God rather than the "law" of man.

We as the children of God and His ambassadors must speak truth. We must do that which is right if we are truly walking with God and fear no man, nor retribution.

Then, after David wrote of this truth, the apostle Peter spoke of it as well.

Acts 5:26KJV
29¶Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Here we are 2000 yrs later in the same situation. This nation that was founded on Christian principals, the bible quoted and read by the founders, and yet we are encouraged to not speak out the truth. We are close to being muzzled by our government. The very government that we the people elect is trying to tell us how we should live, how we should act, talk, and not "offend".

How do we reconcile this with our mandate from God?
How do we follow this "politically correct" speech of mincing words, parsing meanings, softening truth?

We don't.
As men and women of God we must speak God's law, God's Word.

Jesus was good and kind and reached out to the sinners. Yet He also called wrong just that-wrong. He spoke out against sin, He forgave sins yes, yet He told them to sin no more. He spoke out about legalism, the "religious" leaders of His day. He threw the money lenders out of the temple, He berated and derided the scribes and pharisees for their lack of heart and compassion, for their oppression of the people.
Christ was our example, He loved the sinner, but abhorred the sin. He died that all might come to repentance. Repentance which means turning away from sin. Christ wanted all to repent and know God and His Love and His Law.
We must live as the Light of the World, as example of Christ's love.
A love that speaks out against sin and calls all to Christ so that they too may
Be part of the Kingdom of God.
He didn't condone or coddle sin, He died so we could be free of it.
We ought rather to serve God, speak the truth rather than to be lost in the world, Rather than to be seeking man's favor, man's acceptance.
Stand up and stand out for God. Tell of His love and compassion. Just know He is the God of judgement as well.

He shall judge those who do not repent.
He shall judge those that do not do as they should but who do as they "feel".
He set the example, we must follow it.

Matthew 22:37-40KJV
37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

What greater love is there than the love that corrects and saves from destruction?
Sin will destroy.
We must speak wisdom and truth.
Wisdom is the Law of God.
