Too many people today are using God as a genie, taking Him out and making a wish then putting Him back into the bottle until it's time to make the next wish.

Forgetting He is Lord and Master of Creation, That His Will is all that matters not our wants and needs.

please note here that God created, we did not create God. God formed the earth, God made all,

Too many times we have taken this relationship and juxtaposed the personnel. We have ,in our thinking, flipped God and us. We seem to think He is here for us. Not the other way around. We are here for Him, by Him and of Him.

Well folks this thinking has led us to where we are today. In a mess. While we humans are the pinnacle of creation, we are not I repeat NOT the creator.

We are here to serve glorify and magnify the God of the universe, the God who created all of this. The one and only Lord God Jehovah.

He is either Master and Lord in your life or He is nothing. There can not be two voices leadibg in any relationship. There can be only one.

Isaiah 12:2 KJV

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Notice here that God is the savior, the stregnth, the song. Isaiah is stating quite clearly that God is his all. Not that he is all to God. We are not the ones calling the shots here.

If God is not Lord and Master in your life, then He is not in your life. You can not subjugate Him. You can not place Him in a bottle to take out and use only when you need him.

God wants to work through us, to use us to further His will, He wants to allow us to be a part of His purpose.

We in our conceit have turned that thought around, we have made ourselves higher than Him. We have made our comfort, our goals, our thinking, the higher agenda instead of seeking His Will.

We pray for our little bitty issues and do not see the big picture. We have the whole entire story laid out in front of us yet we fail to see it.

God has given us the script. Instead we want to improvise and pretend that It's all about us.
God sacrificed His Son to die for us, God breathed life into us, God has done all for us. Can you be bothered to do for Him?

Be a Joshua today. Turn to God, surrender all to Him. Stop seeing Him as a genie and start seeing Him as He truly Is.

Serve God with all your might and all your soul and then the true happiness that comes when you find Real purpose will be yours.
