We are the Top tier of creation

Exodus 32:2-4KJV

2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

From the time of Moses and Abraham people worshipped images, inanimate objects and called them gods. 

Now first of all I have this problem: why would I even think a cow or a ram is worthy of more respect than I?

Man ,throughout the ages, has found things to put above himself, generally animals, or things they themselves made. So the creator (man) is now worshipping the created.

We through the advent of evolution theory have done the same yet again. We have placed ourselves lower than the animals. We have made this world this creation more than what it is.

Of course that then begs the question: if nature created man, if nature evolved then where does global warming come from? Can't nature heal itself against the injuries man has caused? If nature, creation, is all powerful then how can we as man damage it?

We were given dominion over all the earth from God, we were to be care takers of this wonderful creation of His. We were the crowning achievement of creation, the penultimate creature. Yet they have taken our rightful God given position and tried to make us equals with the apes.

Why is it we can reason, we can talk and build yet not a single animal can accomplish the slightest task that a 3 yr old human can do? How is it that we can build civilizations, write read study history but dogs, cats, pigs etc are not capable of this? 

Because we are different. We are God's finest creation. We are responsible for them, they have no authority, no equality with us.

This then brings to the forefront of the conversation: why. Why would we take God out? Why would we ignore His hand? Because if there is no God, then there is no moral code, no standard of righteousness. Man can do what he wants with no one to question it.

I personally would rather worship God, than to think I came from an ape, or out of a miry bog somewhere. This creation is just too perfect to have just happened. This creation is too symmetrical to have just happened.

The animals are under us, we are not under the animals, we care for and provide for them. They sustain us with clothing, meat, milk and companionship. They work for us, they provide transport.

There is no comprehension in me for this whole concept... It truly baffles me why someone would worship an animal, a tree , or evil spirits. 

Looking out over this creation, the complexity and simplicity I just can't get away from God who created it all.
