I am God's son and ambassador

You know there is a lot of discussion about where "I" came from, My history.
I am using the "i" here in a general not specific sense. There is a black history month, a spanish history month, st Patricks days all to honor different heritages.

I have a dad and a mom. I have never tried to investigate where my family came from, i just was never that curious about it. If you are that's all well and good, it just doesn't matter that much to me.

However,
Upon my salvation I was grafted into the Family of God. That is my genealogy. There is no heritage richer than that. There are no family roots, tree, or path that is more worthwhile.
I have a Father - God Jehovah.
I have a brother - Jesus.
This family died for me, this family did more for me before I ever even knew who they were.
That is my genealogy and if you are a born again christian then you too are a son of God. That means that you are in this family, that you are a functioning member, a contributing member.
Whether you are contributing positively or if you are detracting from you are contributing to this family.
This also means that you are a representative of this family. That you are an ambassador.
Just as with my earthly father I am in his image, so am I in my heavenly Father's Image.
What people see in me/you may be all they ever see of God. What I/you do may be the only reflection of God they ever get.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

As ambassadors and sons of God Almighty we must be in His Will. We must be in good standing, able to represent the purity and holiness of God to the best of our ability.
For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: yeshall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

We are all they may ever see of our Heavenly Father. We are all they may ever know of our God.
Are you showing them a true example?
