There are hypocrites in the pews

I have heard and in my younger years even used this excuse to not go to church..
There are hypocrites in the church, probably even one writing this now. However, if that is your excuse, your reason, your "sound" logical opinion, then you need to think again.
Hypocrisy is nothing new. Humans always have been and always will be human. Even Christ himself dealt with this issue in his own ranks.
Judas Iscariot was a zealot, a thief, and a liar.

John 12:3-5King James Version (KJV)

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
Judas was not worried about the poor in this situation. What is needed to know is that Judas was the keeper of the purse.
Judas wanted the money so he could liberate it into his own uses.

For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

Judas was not waiting for the spiritual kingdom he was trying to pave the way for the physical kingdom, for the release of the Jews from the Roman oppression. He was looking for a leader to lead the revolt. Not a leader who preached peace on earth, who was working towards God's goals not man's.

If Christ who knows the hearts of men dealt with this, how much more so shall we,who can not tell the truth of the people's hearts, have to deal with this?
I have said repeatedly, we do not have to give account for our brother or anyone else in the pew. We just have to give account for us, what we do and how we do it.
If you are letting an excuse like this keep you from the church, then that is something between you and God..

But remember this, seeking God's will for your life is necessary. However, going to church and fellowshipping with likeminded believers is a commandment set forth in the Bible. That is not something you should have to pray about. God has already spoken in this therefore further guidance or a sign is not needed. The church you attend is a matter of prayer and seeking His guidance, but not if you should attend a church.
What it comes down to is this: do not let this be your excuse. We as weak fallible men will seek any reason we can not to be in church.
That comes straight from satan and the pit of Hell.
Get in a good God Fearing church, don't go in looking for reasons not to be there, look to God and find the good.
Give the hypocrites an example by doing the right thing, not letting them steal your blessing. Don't let them steal your joy.
Don't let them stand in the way of you and your God.
