Going down the road today I realized driving a manual (stick) transmission makes me focus more on what's going on around me.
When driving a automatic transmission my hands and mind and subsequently eyes are free to find mischief or lose focus.

This made me think of David's Psalm "thy Word is a lamp unto my feet".
When you walk with a lamp or flashlight you focus on your next step, or on the ground looking for trip and stumble hazards.

This is what God's Word is to be to us. A guide to our next step. A firm footing we follow for each step so we do not stumble or fall.
Psalm 119:105 KJV
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,

Use God's word for each day, each step for safety.
