In The United States of America we have reached a point where immorality and perversion is the accepted norm. We are having to fight to maintain the simplest of Christian principles. Contraceptives and abortion are being masked under "women's health rights", Gay marriage is now the "norm" you are a bigot and racist if you stand against it. Companies are having to go to court to keep from violating their principles and beliefs due to Obamacare. The Bible is not being allowed anywhere, in fact a ladies' group was asked to leave a mall because they dared to pray there.
I sent a letter to my congressman about the Federal Government giving preferential treatment to companies who hire homosexuals, he responded with "I appreciate your views and if the Senate takes up this measure I will keep your views in mind." Not that he would make a stand, or bring it up himself but IF the Senate brought it up he would try and remember.
Satanists are getting more vocal now, atheists are becoming more and more prolific in their attacks, we are losing the battle if we have not lost it already.
Has God removed His hand from America? Has America been given over to a reprobate mind? Has satan so clouded the thoughts and minds of people that we can no longer call sin what it is - SIN?
We are in a battle - a spiritual battle for the welfare of our nation's soul. Today on the radio I heard a lady speaking and she made a tremendous point that I am about to plagiarize. I do not know her name I wish I did so I could give full credit to her.
Exodus 17:8-13KJV
8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
The important part of this is: Moses' arms. As long as Moses' arms were held up to God the Israelites won, when his arms were down they lost. Then when he was tired two others came to help and hold his arms up for him.
Moses needed help. He could not do it alone. Neither can we.
We need help. We need prayer warriors who will pray till the sun sets. Raise the men and women of God up to the Lord till the sun sets. Pray them up. Pray your nation, your city, your state, your preacher, your church, your Sunday School, Your husband/ wife, your family etc.
Lift people up to God, help them with your prayers.
If God has taken His Hand from America it does not have to be permanent. We can pray it back on us. We can re-establish ourselves as the Christian nation of the world. However, we can not do it without prayer, without God. We need men and women of God to pray for the leaders of this nation both in the pulpit and in the Nation's capital.
God can still work a mighty work in this country but not if we do not plead with Him, Petition Him, Beg Him. Pray without ceasing, Pray effectively and fervently. Pray!
Be a prayer warrior, write out your prayer lists. Then pray them through several times a day. We need dedicated people to do this. We need the average person to pray. Find your prayer closet, talk to God and tell Him how you feel, what you think. Let's overwhelm God with our voices so He hears us and answers us quickly. Pray: no matter what else you do - PRAY.
