The answer that did not answer, but spoke to the need

Joh 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
Joh 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus says we know you are a teacher come From God, for no one can do what you do except God be with him.
Jesus answers and says except a man be born again he can not see the Kingdom of God.
That was not what Nicodemus vocalized or said.
It was what Nicodemus needed to hear, but it was not close to what he had said
Is it not truly fascinating that Jesus always says what they need to hear, He doesn't respond as much to their outward talking, but to their inner questions, the ones keeping them awake at night.
The conversation starts off with flattery as most men do, Jesus cuts right through that and gets straight to the point.
You must be born again.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jesus, seeing the man and knowing his heart, gets right to the point. You must be born again. Man is born of water in the physical birth, yet he must also be born of the Spirit to see the Kingdom of God. He spends time with a leader, a master of Israel explaining the concept that Nicodemus could not grasp. He spends time doesn't get frustrated or run out of patience, and He witnesses to a man who is a master of Religion.
We have made you must be born again a punchline but Jesus in earnest teaches a teacher of this need for a Spiritual birth.
How much more important must it be for us to tell them -
Ye must MUST be Born again?
