I awoke this morning with a song in my head, a praise on my lips, I am saved. Why, Because I am saved, by the blood of the Lamb. I am saved from the sin penalty, washed in the blood, standing on the promises and in His Righteousness alone.
You say "well that's every day" Yes it is, but what am I or you doing with it today? Are you going to church today? Are you going to witness today? Are you going to proclaim the Sacrifice of Christ, the Gospel of the Good news today to a lost and dying soul?
Act_2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
The Lord added to the church daily, daily. They were saved daily, they were living daily, they were waking up with the message on their lips, the joy in their heart and God in their daily life.
When you wake up with a song in your heart, with a praise on your lips, with a song in your Spirit, what do you do with it? Do you share it with those who can relate? Who will rejoice with you? Do you share it with those who may need to hear it and be fortified in their Spirit that they too may rejoice with you?
When you wake with the Gospel on your heart, thankful for the salvation He provided for you, do you take it to the World that needs to know of the joy you have that they too might have it? Do you stand up on your soapbox and preach the love of God, the Death of Christ, the shedding of blood for the remission of sins?
Act 11:14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
God spoke to Peter and Cornelius, both separately but to the same accord, that Peter might tell Cornelius how he might be saved.
Why didn't God just have the angel tell him? Why didn't God just tell Him? Why did He send him to Peter? Because Peter could relate to Cornelius, Peter knew experientially of the sacrifice, the love and the Gospel of Christ, and could speak to Cornelius of what Christ had done for him.
Not only did He send Him to Peter but then He primed Peter for the telling. God took care of the whole thing for both men, But please note that both men had to be willing to do their part. God sent Cornelius to Peter, Cornelius had to go, Peter had to receive him, and tell him.
What are you doing with your salvation today? Are you sharing it with the heart that is being prepared to hear your words? Are you the one with the Word to prepare their hearts for the next person to tell them of Christ?
Oh how closely are you listening to the Spirit today for those that you are to tell? Can you hear Him? Will you listen to Him? Will you tell them?
Act 15:30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
Act 15:31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation. They read the epistle and all the people rejoiced.
They delivered the epistle, which was a message, and when the people heard it they all rejoiced. How often do you rejoice when you hear the message?
How do you share that rejoicing? To whom will you take it to today?
Will you be the one today that God has sent to tell them? Will you hear the call of the Spirit? Will you take the One you have to those who have a need?
