Act 27:21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
Act 27:22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
Act 27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Act 27:24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
Act 27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
You know what stood out to me here? An angel stood by me this night.
In the midst of the storm that Paul was in, Which by the way Paul had no control over for he was a prisoner told where to go, an angel stood by Paul.
I am no proponent of angel worship, for the angels are created beings, servants of God. Angel worship is wrong, do not put the angels on a pedestal but the God who sends them deserves all the praise.
Paul had an angel of God next to him, talking to him, telling him to not fear.
God has given the angels the job of protecting us in His will, they are the messengers of God, the servants of God and they are beside us, around us. They are the ones who perform God's will.
There was an army of angels that Elisha's servant Gehazi saw, an angel who the donkey saw barring Baalam's way, angels who pulled Lot into his house and blocked his door, angels that ministered to Christ.
We have angels among us, now most of us are not that in touch with God that we see and feel the angels but they are there.
Paul was in the will of God, doing that which God would have him do. Paul was on a ship in a storm, all the seasoned sailors were afraid and trying to save their lives and their ship, but Paul who had warned them not to go, who had counselled against leaving Crete, was not worried for he had an angel tell him God had him and all that were with him, in His hand.
Paul was safe and secure, firmly in the will of God. Paul was in chains and in shackles, going to Rome and a certain death but God protected Him until God's will was done.
No safer place even in the face of certain death than in the Will of God.
We ,in the center of God's will, are safer than all the gold in Fort Knox. We have the very God of Creation protecting us. We have the armies of God making sure our way, making us the strongest people on the face of the earth. We should be the soundest sleepers, the least worrisome people ever known. If you are in the will of God what exactly will harm you that God is not aware of? For He is God and none can withstand Him.

When God deems it so, the angels are there to carry out the order, and God says if you are in His hand none shall pluck you out. If He has called you to go, He will protect you. If He has told you to do, He shall make it possible. If He has sent you then your way is prepared, protected and provided for.
Stop worrying, if you are prayed up then God has your back.
Now the flip side is this, do not put Him in a position where He must save you from problems of your own making. He wants you to follow Him, not try to lead Him where you want Him to go.
God is the Master and Commander, if you are following His Word, His Will than and only then can you fully rest on His Word, His protection, but if you are leading, moving in a way that He has not ordained then you better worry.
Deu 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
Deu 6:17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee
If your finances are a mess because you did not seek His counsel, then it's not God's job to work it out.
If your are in a relationship that God did not bless, then watch out.
If you are anywhere, doing anything that God has not instructed you to, or said in His Word that you ought to do, then watch out.
Once you are in a mess He can lead you if you call on Him, read His Word and do His bidding. He can help you fix your finances, your relationship after the fact but how much easier it would be had you asked and sought His advice before you got into that mess.
God knows we make mistakes, we sin and fail to follow His way. He can help you out, but you will still have to bear the consequences of the actions that got you into the mess.
God forgives, but we must still pay the price of not asking, seeking and knocking.
In His Will the angels are serving His Will in your protection, in your aid, in your favor. Even though you do not see or feel them.
In the Will of God you are safer than at any other time in your life.
Listen to Him before He has to say you should have listened.
