Have you ever wondered why we call God "Father"? Why it is that the Jewish people hold His name in such reverence that they didn't even speak it and we get to call Him daddy?
No other "religion" gets that privilege. They can not claim to know their "god" as we do, they can not claim a personal relationship, being part of their family as we do.
They must sit back and see their "god" from a distance hoping that they may be heard, wondering if they will ever understand them, or attain whatever goals their "god" set for them.
Whereas we are told that God wants to fellowship with us, talk with us, walk with us. We have a unique experience that no one else can claim.
Jesus Himself tells us that Our Father in Heaven wants us to talk to Him To talk with Him. Jesus tells us we can call Him Father.
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Jesus is God. Jesus says we can call God Father, for only the true child of God can call Him Father.
Joh_10:30 I and my Father are one.
Joh_1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
We are privileged far and above any other for we can call Him Father.
God created life, all life here on this planet. He breathed from His nostrils life into man. He Then gave us Life through His sacrifice on the cross.
All Life is through and of Him. Therefore He is the Father of all.
Yet not all can call Him "Abba" as we can. This term is the defining use of the word father in aramaic according to dictionary.com.
Only a true son or daughter can call someone Father and have it have meaning.
God the Father is a loving gracious God, He created all we see, He loves us, He provides for us, He made everything we have possible.
He is the purest of the Pure, the Holiest of the Holy. The most Righteous of any there is.
He is God and He is worthy of being called Father.
Even though we have not earned it, even though we do not deserve it, even though we have done everything we can to ruin that relationship He still wants that fellowship, that Love and that relationship with us.
He is God and He deserves every single accolade and praise we can heap upon Him.
God is our Authority, God is our Father. No one else should be called father in spiritual matters, God is our only authority we are subject to in Spiritual matters, For All authority is His, and the understanding of it is given to us by Him and His Holy Spirit.
Mat 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Our Father not only cared, created and died for us but He gave us access to Him.
Our Father, the God of creation looks for us and loves us.
Our Father gave us the privilege of calling Him Father.
Can you call Him Father?
Are you of God?
Does He know you and you Him?
God the Father.
My Father who is in Heaven.Can you say He is your father? Can you say, honestly say, that you are a child of His?
Have you received Christ and become a true child of God?
God the Father, sent God the Son for you. God the Son tells us that we can have the Spirit of God on us, in our lives, in our ministry, in our lives, if we but receive Him.
God wants to know you
He wants to show you great and mighty things you know not.
Call on Him today and receive Him, then you too can say Abba Father.
Then you too can say I am a child of God.
Be sure that you are a Child of God, that you have received Christ as your savior.
Once you are certain that you can call God Father in truth, then be certain that those you learn from also can call God Father.
I believe the biggest problem we have in churches today is that the people know of Him, but few actually know Him.
Few in our pulpits truly are His children.
The Child of God shall be known by his works, The True Child of God shall be known for their Father will be seen through them.
The true child of God will speak of their Father, and they will speak with authority for they know Him, not just of Him.
They will have power in the Spirit because they have His Spirit, not their own understanding.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
A true Child of God will love his brethren. They will love their brethren enough to tell them of death and hell. They will love enough that they shall preach the Gospel of Jesus that all should come to repentance.
A true child of God, a messenger sent from God will preach Truth.
Anything else will not be from God, nor will it be from a true child of God.
1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
This is how you will know that they are of God. They shall preach Christ and Christ alone. For that is the true test of a Child of God.
Anything else, they are not a true Child of God, they are not a true messenger of God.
