There is a preacher in Ohio that I love listening to who said that in his town there is one church open for services on Sunday night.
This is a big city, and there is one ONE church open for services on Sunday night.
On The Drudge report a few weeks ago I saw they gave the listing for the most accessed websites, in the top 5 were 2 porn sites!
We have churches closing their doors on the Lord's day. Porn sites having more visitors than news and other sites.
We have become ,for the most part, seekers of pleasure rather than of God. We have a nation of Christians who "know" God, who claim to be Christ followers but refuse to deviate from their own path to walk on His.
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Man has become wise in His own eyes.
We have allowed complacency and dare I say unbelief to grow in our churches.
We know God, We profess Christ yet we do not walk like Him nor talk like Him.
We do not spread His Word, His Gospel, or His Love instead we go about our ways feeling good that we got up Sunday Morning and went to church.
Look at me I sacrificed 2 hours today for God on His day!
Look at me I am pious! I went to services before I went out to eat with the family, went fishing, went home to watch 6 hours of football.
I gave God 2 hours and worked 60 hours for the new car we just bought.
I said unbelief in the church a few words ago and I meant it.
We no longer believe that God will judge us, we no longer believe that there is a Hell.
We no longer live as if we are building up a treasure for ourselves in Heaven.
We are living like the rich man's kid. We ask for our inheritance and we live the life of someone who has it all and we have it all together, but we have forgotten the family name and the family business.
We have turned a blind eye to sin. We have turned a blind eye to unacceptable behaviors, we have stopped preaching condemnation and Hellfire damnation for the sake of offense.
We have taken the Name of our Father and cloaked ourselves in it, we have taken our blessings and shut ourselves up in it, and we have failed the people of this nation.
We the so called God fearing people have stopped fearing God and have started fearing man more. We have started fearing the loss of our comfort more.
The more our Father gave us the more we gave up doing!
We have taken our inheritance and squandered it on pleasures.
We have been feeding the swine in a foreign land instead of working on our Father's Land and for His enrichment.
We have turned our backs on the Father!
No wonder there is so much turmoil. suicide rates rocketing, drug use, alcohol abusers at all time highs.
It is our fault.
We are complacent lazy people.
Churches on the east coast are closing faster than ever, here in America mosques and muslims are growing while the Truth of Christ is dying out.
How do we look at ourselves in the mirror?
How do we stand before the throne of God and even look at Him?
How do we explain to our children that this is all our fault without breaking down in tears?
Look out the window people and you will see a lost and dying world that we will not cross the street for.
We are too caught up in our own convenience!
Mat_5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
We are the light of the World.
Does your light so shine before men?
