A roaring lion

I have wrote on this before, and am going to do so again.
Merely because our own faults, our own thinking, our own actions are ours, too many times we give credit or blame to satan.
The devil, satan, Lucifer, baal, is a created finite being. He has no power or sway over us except what God allows.
He can not infiltrate our heads, he can not control our thoughts or actions, he can only do what a finite created being can do.
He can tempt us, but he can not make us sin.
He can put snares around us, but we must be willing to overlook them, to let down our guard and to step into them.
1. He is a roaring lion, walking about seeking whom he may devour.
How does a lion hunt? He roars and scares his prey, they break out into a run and he goes after the weakest and the infirm. His roar is designed to scare and cause action without thought. The Prey does exactly what he needs them to do in order for him to get them.
2. He is a being of light and beauty, he was an angel. Not just An angel, but he was top of the heap, top tier.
His evil is purely his defiance of God, his utter inability to leave things in God's hands. He thought he could be God. He thought that he was better than God, knew more, knew better.
3. He (satan) has access to God. God lets him into heaven where he accuses the brethren. As shown In the case of Job not only does satan have access to heaven but he has the ear of God too.

Now he roars which is all he can do. He can scare you, but unless God let's him, he can do no more to you unless you allow.
He doesn't come to you and show you the death he wants for you, instead he shows you sin and the pleasures, he entices you, he makes it look good.

Now here is the endgame. All you need to know. He (satan) can lie to you, he can   trick you, he can tempt you. That's it.

Doing what he suggests, falling for his lies, being unable to stay the course all that falls on us.
We are the ones who in temptation and trials turn away from God and turn to the wrong. In the moment we make the decision, we decide God or not God.
Everything no matter what it is, everything is a choice you make.
To sin, not to sin.
To go to church, to not go to church.
To do right, or not to.
To tithe, or not.
To witness, or not, it all falls on you the believer.
It is on Us.
Quit blaming satan.
Stand on your own two feet and realize satan is real, but he is not all powerful.
He is not all knowing.
He is not everywhere.

He can do nothing without permission.
Your choice is what makes him win. Your choice is what defines your direction.
Don't give him credit or blame.
It is all on us.
