I was watching the news as I usually do most everyday and there is a disturbing event going on that I feel will take a turn for the worse here in America.
There is a group called "freedom from religion foundation" who is making a push to have the government censor the pastors of churches for what they preach as they have a tax exempt status. What this group is complaining about is that pastors are preaching the Word of God, telling the flock who to vote for, and preaching sedition while the government allows them to not pay taxes.
We are fast approaching a serious conflict here in the United States. I do not at any time want to give credence to this group of atheists who are trying to push their agenda on churches and Christians. They are atheists and, in my humble opinion, idiots.
However, it is my opinion that this is seed planting that they are doing, and with the current liberal progressive trend our government is going towards it is not far from the realm of possibility.
We are fast approaching a point in this country where we must do as Joshua did, make a stand in front of our nation.

I have several times in past posts stated that we must make a stand. We must study, pray, witness, and proclaim the message. I have stated categorically that we must make our stand. Well now more than ever this is the truth!
We must decide whom we are going to serve and make sure we declare it.
We are soon, and I mean very soon, going to be unable to speak out in our churches against the social ills as it will be labeled hate speech. We will be unable to speak out about the sins of man, unable to speak out about the government, abortions, homosexuality, drinking, drugs, fornication,or anything else the PC'ers feel is wrong.
The tax exempt status will be threatened and many will cave in.
Me personally I feel that if we must make a choice between taxes and speaking the truth then it is apparent that we must speak the truth.
Christ Himself said that the time will come where a man must choose:

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
We are soon to be at this point. You must decide and now whom you will serve. The time is coming when it will be necessary to decide. I am making my choice here and now, this way when it comes time for me to be questioned there shall be no doubt where I stand. I hope that all who read this will also make their choice, then make it known. Not just to their families but to their neighbors, their church, their senator, their representatives, and any other who need to know.
If you tell me this can never happen in America then you need to look around.
20 years ago women preachers were never going to happen, Homosexuals were never going to be ordained. Homosexual marriage would never be ok. Marijuana would never be legal.
Yet here we are. It has all happened.
We did not stand for any of the wrongs happening in our nation, we did not make a fight of it. We rolled over and allowed it to keep happening. Well now we must pay the price for our lack of fight, for our silence, for our lack of vigilance, for the blind eye we turned. We now must prepare ourselves for the rest of the fall down the slippery slope.
This censorship is coming. We Christians in America have had it too easy for far too long and now we are going to start losing the freedoms our ancestors fought and died for.
The people who left England to come to America did so to keep the government out of our churches. To keep the government from telling them what they could say, what they could do. Yet here we are in the exact same boat.
Why? Because we preferred to live in our pampered state instead of looking out for the interests of God. We preferred to sit in the Air conditioning rather than to get out and witness. We mowed our lawns and watched football instead of going to church.
We have allowed it to get to this point, and it will only get worse.
I am not fomenting rebellion or insurrection here. What I am doing is saying that if it comes to serving God or Caesar then we should put God first.
Romans 13 KJV
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
God has placed government over us for a reason. we here in America elect our leaders. That makes us responsible for the leaders and the leaders responsible for us.
What I am saying that when it comes to God's laws or man's laws we MUST obey God's laws.
